Surrounded by all their cherished loved ones, Emily + Alex said heartfelt vows, heard words filled with love and admiration, and celebrated in the most intimate way. These two are genuine and kind. If you’re looking for an idealistic or picture-perfect wedding celebration, this probably isn’t it. The weather was so cold we could barely stand to be outside. But in our minds, Alicia + Jon’s wedding is one of the finest examples we have of a day completely bursting at the seams with genuine, real, and raw emotions. Between the tender moments and heartfelt embraces, everyone was either laughing their hearts out or crying their eyes out. THIS is what we mean when we say “authentic and honest.”

There’s something special about getting ready in your childhood home. Laura grew up in a stunning historic home in the Indian Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati. The rooms in their home are filled with family mementoes and memories of Laura’s childhood. The sounds of giggles and little feet of nieces and nephews running around echoed through the halls, and cheers from her college alma mater’s football game in the background. Laura was brimming with the joy and peace of being in a place that was so special to her.
The celebration took place at the Camargo Club, another special place to the family. The night ended with The Sly Band putting on one of the best performances we’ve ever seen. It was the most beautiful fall day, it could not have gone more perfectly. Laughter, family, close friends, a personal ceremony, a candlelight reception and one heck of a dance party. The day they hoped for and will cherish forever.
